Apply for diplomatic number plates  

Information about the vehicle Chassis number, registration number (used vehicle)   

Proof of ownership, for example a photo of the original registration certificate (used vehicle) or a copy of the document of sale (new vehicle)   

If you are applying as an embassy, diplomat or administrative employee:  Declaration 13.004 (franchise) or a signed and stamped letter from the embassy management. As a diplomat or administrative employee, you must also attach a copy of your ID or residence permit.    

If you are applying as an employee of an international organisation: Copy of the Certificate for registration of motor vehicle free of customs, excise duties and VAT, International organisation.    

Copy of ID or residence permit.    

If you are applying as an international organisation: A signed and stamped letter from the management of the international organisation.    

If you are a number plate operator, you must attach a power of attorney from the applicant.   

Diplomatic number plates cost:  

For cars: DKK 1,180  For motorcycles: DKK 590 (Motorcycles can only be registered with white number plates)
