Apply for a classification of facilities such as laboratories and laboratory areas used for work with genetically modified microorganisms or gene therapy. Reapply in case of later changes to the facilities.
You will need this:
MitID Erhverv (eID solution)
Company's CVR-no.
Floor plan covering the area, you wish to classify
Company safety regulations for the facilities, e.g. regarding ventilation and accidental discharge to the surroundings
Risk class of the GMOs that you are planning to work with (must be included in your risk assessment)
Detailed information about the specific animals or plants and their handling.
When applying for approval of changes to a GMO facility, you have to provide the LAB-id. Changes are for instance an expansion, rebuild, moving, upgrade or downgrade or the termination of a facility.
Only companies with a Danish CVR number can have MitID Erhverv. If your company does not have it, please contact the company responsible for the facilities, and ask them to submit the application.
