Notify genetic engineering facilities

The following information must be included in the notification:

• Laboratory, medical room, large-scale or production

• Name and address of the company

• Laboratory classification

• Laboratory or facility

• Name of person responsible for research

• Name of health and safety organisation

• Protection and containment measures

• Waste management

• Documents can be attached if the text exceeds the word limit of the boxes.

You must notify the facilities before you start work.

For notifications within risk class 1, notification is only necessary the first time work begins. Work can begin immediately after notification.

The Danish Working Environment Authority has 45 days to process your notification.

For work within risk class 1, a receipt of notification will be provided, after which work can begin.

Work within risk classes 2 to 4 must be approved before work can begin.
