Vermin controller (temporary provision and establishment)

The registration itself is free of charge but a fee of DKK 230 is payable for the following registration of the vermin controller in the Danish database for users of plant protection products (MAB). The following payment cards may be used: Dankort, VisaDankort, Visa, MasterCard.

Persons established outside Denmark, but in an EEA state, must register himself at the Danish EPA stating nationality, that the person fulfils the requirements set out in Article 19 of Directive 2005/36/EC (section 29, subsection 1 in the Danish Statutory Order) and that the person has not by judgment or administrative decision been disqualified to practice as a vermin controller.

If the person does not fulfil the requirements set out in Article 19 of Directive 2005/36/EC (section 29, subsection 1 in the Danish Statutory Order), it is possible to get an authorization by fulfilling the requirements that are described in Chapter 7 in the Statutory Order.

The decision on whether or not to issue an authorization will be made as soon as possible after all necessary documents have been received. Normally, you can expect to get an answer from Danish Environmental Protection Agency within four to eight weeks.

In case of rejection

If the Danish Environmental Protection Agency decides to reject your application for recognition of your already achieved qualifications, you will receive a reasoned notification. If you disagree with the decision to refuse your application, you have the right to take legal action. A court case must be raised within six months of a rejection. An appeal to a superior administrative body against this decision is not permitted.
