We process your personal data for the following purposes:
The personal data are used to assess whether the fitter, workshop or vehicle manufacturer or its owner and/or day-to-day manager meets the criteria for obtaining an authorization, including a code of conduct requirement.
The basis in law for our processing of your personal data ensues from:
Article 7 and article 24 of regulation (EU) No 165/2014 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 4 February 2014 on tachographs in road transport, repealing Council Regulation (EEC) No 3821/85 on recording equipment in road transport and amending Regulation (EC) No 561/2006 of the European Parliament and of the Council on the harmonization of certain social legislation relating to road transport.

The Danish Road Traffic Authority complies with The Danish Freedom of Information Act and the Public Administration Act.
We process the following categories of personal data about you:
Personal data – such as your name, address, identification number, education and qualification, employment.
Special data – approval report.
Personal data relating to criminal convictions and offences, which is of importance for our decision regarding your application.

Currently, we cannot say how long we will keep your personal data. However, we can inform you that we will emphasise the rules and principles of the Danish Archives Act, The Danish Freedom of Information Act and the Public Administration Act and how long your data is necessary for the case when determining how long the data will be kept.

If you choose to withdraw your consent, it does not affect the lawfulness of our processing of your personal data based on your previously given consent and up to the time of the withdrawal. Therefore, if you withdraw your consent, it will only take effect from this time.
