If an auditor approved in accordance with the 8. Directive wishes to work in Denmark the auditor needs to apply with the Danish Business Authority in order to obtain recognition as an approved auditor in Denmark.

To obtain this the applicant will have to pass an aptitude test to document his or her knowledge to Danish legislation, cf. Section 10 (1), in the Danish Act on approved Auditors and Audit Firms.
The auditor cannot commence his or her work before the person has completed the aptitude test, and fulfils certain conditions mentioned in Section 3, in the Danish Act on approved Auditors and Audit Firms. Applications must be submitted via the "Start"-button.
