The official recognition on whether or not your qualifications as Danish waste deposit site operator or staff, will be initiated within one month after all necessary documents have been received.
In case of difficulties which may cause a delay in the process, the Danish Environmental Protection Agency will inform you about the reason for this delay and the expected time when the difficulty will be resolved. You will receive this information within one month upon receiving your full application. The difficulty will be resolved within one month upon receiving this information. You will receive an answer to your application no later than two months upon resolution of the difficulty.
In the absence of a reaction of the Danish Environmental Protection Agency within the above mentioned deadlines, your services may be provided temporarily or occasionally.
Please note that you are required to renew your declaration once a year if you intend to provide temporary or occasional services in Denmark during the following year. The deadline for application is no longer, than one year after your previous application is submitted.
In case of rejection
If the Danish Environmental Protection Agency decides to reject your application for official recognition of your qualifications to operate as an operator or staff at a Danish landfill site, you will receive a reasoned notification.
If you disagree with the decision by the Danish Environmental Protection Agency to refuse your application, you have the right to appeal case before a court of law.
