If you wish to work as a paramedic in Denmark, you must have an authorization as a EMT and an authorizationID issued by the Danish Patient Safety Authority before you can apply for registration as a paramedic.

The decision on whether or not to grant registration will be made as soon as possible after all necessary documents have been received. Normally you can expect to get an answer from Danish Patient Safety Authority within four months.
In case of rejection
I you believe that the Danish Patient Safety Authority haven’t complied with the administrative rules, you can complain to the Ministry of Health, Holbergsgade 6, 1057 København K.
The Ministry of Health cannot carry out any review of the Danish Patient Safety Authority’s professional assessments (assessments of foreign educations, exemptions from requirements, etc.), because The Danish Patient Safety Authority are the authority on issues relating to health professional, see § 212, stk. 1 and § 214, stk. 2 in Sundhedsloven (consolidation act number 913 of 13th of July 2010).
