File a complaint about offensive behaviour, including bullying and sexual harassment

If you are exposed to or have witnessed offensive behaviour, including bullying and sexual harassment in the workplace, you can file a complaint with the Danish Working Environment Authority.

File a complaint regarding health and safety at work

Anyone can file a complaint with the Danish Working Environment Authority if they suspect that a Danish or foreign company is violating occupational health and safety regulations. The complaint will be treated confidentially.

Notify genetic engineering facilities

Notify genetic engineering facilities such a laboratories and laboratory areas that will be used for work with genetically modified microorganisms, genetically modified animals or plants, or gene therapy.

Notify genetic engineering research such as laboratory work that involves genetically modified microorganisms, genetically modified animals or plants, or gene therapy.

Notify the Danish Working Environment Authority of a new construction site

As the client, you have a duty to notify Arbejdstilsynet of a new construction site. This applies if the expected duration exceeds 30 days and at least 20 employees are employed at the same time, or if the presumed workload exceeds 500 man-days.

Notify the Product Registry of hazardous substances and materials

Companies that produce or import hazardous chemical substances and materials for professional use in Denmark in quantities above 100 kg per year, must notify the products to the Product Registry.

Report asbestos work

As an employer, you have a duty to report asbestos work to Arbejdstilsynet, the Danish Working Envi-ronment Authority. You must fill in and submit the notification form before the work starts.

Report back to Arbejdstilsynet on an improvement notice

Companies with a Danish CVR number must use the self-service solution when notifying the authority on how they have taken action on an improvement notice. They also have to use it to respond to a written consultation.
