Pesticide application equipment in agriculture, horticulture etc. must be inspected every third year. Inspections must be carried out only by companies approved by the Danish Environmental Agency and registered in the designated IT-system 'SYS'
Keeping a spray record
All professional users of plant protection products must keep a spray record on an ongoing basis. This applies to the agricultural industry, golf courses, minicipalities, gardeners, etc.
Notify the Product Registry of hazardous substances and materials
Companies that produce or import hazardous chemical substances and materials for professional use in Denmark in quantities above 100 kg per year, must notify the products to the Product Registry.

Professional operator of pesticides (Fertiliser Sample Expert) (temporary provision and establishment)
You must have a spraying certificate if you conduct pest management for others as a business or independently or as a sub-contractor conduct pest management as an employee in an enterprise. An application for a must be submitted to the Danish EPA.
Rat control (temporary provision and establishment)
If you wish to work as a rat controller in Denmark, you must have an authorisation issued by the Danish Environmental Protection Agency (EPA).
Reporting of pesticide use on golf courses in the IT-system 'Greendata' (EN)
Golf courses must report the pesticide use (name and amount of each pesticide) and size of the golf course sections in 'Greendata' every year. Reporting takes place between 1.January and 1. March the following year.
Reporting of sales of pesticides
Companies that have an approval of a pesticide are obliged to report the annual quantity sold to the Danish EPA, cf. section 42 of the Statutory Order on pesticides.
Reporting of spraying record
Farmers, gardeners, producers of christmas trees, etc. above a certain size must report each year their total consumption of pesticides in the SJI system. The Danish EPA collects the records and sends them to the EU
